LED Light Therapy by Lisa Corser

LED light therapy has been around for some time but with the latest and improved technology, the LED experience has really come into its own.

I have recently embarked on a series of treatments and apart from being extremely relaxing and soothing, particularly in this cooler weather, I can see and feel the results already.

For an aging skin, a series of LED treatments helps boost collagen production and if you are an acne sufferer, LED blue light can assist to kill the bacteria responsible for the breakouts.

There are three treatments heads available depending on your skin condition or complaint. The Yellow light or 830nm with 590n, photosequencing head, is for wound healing, pain relief, arthritis, hair regrowth and skin rejuvenation.

The Red Light LED is for skin rejuvenation and hair regrowth and the Blue Light LED is for active acne.

What is the LED light? The low level light therapy LLLT with healite is the therapeutic use of light emitting diode (LED) light, to enhance your body’s natural cellular recovery. The process is pain free and non invasive and is actually very nurturing and has a warming sensation on the skin during the treatment.   The LED light penetrates deeply into your tissue affecting the body at a cellular level.

Consult with your therapist or Doctor to see which LED procedure is right for you. This can be a stand alone treatment or incorporated with other treatments depending on your need. There is no down time with this procedure and it usually takes between 10 and 20 minutes.
